The hardworking Wirehaired Pointing Griffon, renowned as the 'supreme gundog,' is known for the harsh, low-shedding coat the breed is named for. Outgoing, eager, and quick-witted, Griffs are incomparable in the field and loving at home. Griffs are medium-sized, all-purpose gundogs standing no higher than 24 inches at the shoulder. They're known for an extremely harsh and bristly coat that gives them a natural, unkempt appearance. The preferred color is steel gray with brown markings. A lavish mustache and eyebrows frame large, rounded eyes that gleam with a keen intelligence. Griffs are the very picture of an honest, hardworking sporting dog, whose handsome looks are the result of a noble and unaffected ruggedness rather than fussy grooming.

Ollie and Tito Litter is almost here! We are very excited about these puppies because both dogs bring a lot of things to the table. Both are sweet and are high-caliber hunting partners. They both received their NA 112 Prize 1 at the same test.

FIELD BRED WIREHAIRED POINTING GRIFFONS

OLLIE

Ollie is the matriarch of our WPG family. She's a machine in the field and at sweetheart home. She has been trained for upland hunting, retrieving, tracking wounded game, and shed hunting. She is the at the higher level of versatile dogs. She is around 45 pounds with a coarse coat that repels burs and stickers in the field. Ollie received her NAVHDA NA 112 Prize 1 a little over a year old and is currently working toward her NAVHDA UT. There is nothing this dog can't do.

TITO

Tito is our stud for our breeding stock. He is a sturdy dog that loves nothing more than to hunt birds and take naps by a fire. This male is adaptable to any hunting situation, whether it is the woodcock woods or finding bobwhites in South Texas working off a truck. Tito earned his NAVHDA NA 112 prize 1 at a year old and is currently working towards his NAVHDA UT. He works well with other dogs in the field with a range of hundreds of yards. Tito is the first dog we put on the ground when we know the birds are going to be hard to find and he does not disappoint.
